Are your Workouts Quality?

As athletes, you always hear your coaches in the gym preach form and function; but do you really apply what they tell you?  I get it, it’s easy to get caught up racing against the clock trying to finish the last few reps of a 5-rounder before the time cap.  At what point though are you sacrificing form and function to get it done?  In CrossFit, we want to establish long-lasting results for the overall betterment of your health.  So finishing the last 9 deadlifts in Diane with a rounded back does nothing for you…well, maybe your ego.

Point being, take the time to do the movement correctly.  The coaches are here to help you move with technical proficiency, and with technique comes speed.  Guarantee that those beautiful lifts will translate into more PRs…and more function down the line.
